The Draft Plan for the dissemination and exploitation of the project results outlines the methodology and rationale behind the dissemination and exploitation activities. It is composed of two sections: one dedicated to the dissemination plan and one dedicated to the exploitation plan.
The Plan for dissemination and exploitation of the results of the PRESERVE project is composed of two main parts: the dissemination plan and the exploitation plan.
The first section covers the dissemination plan, which lays down the dissemination strategy for PRESERVE, its objectives, the identified stakeholders, the indicators, and outlines the dissemination management.
The exploitation plan focuses on describing the methodology tailored specifically for the PRESERVE project and the rationale behind the definition of the plan. The exploitation plan itself will be composed of three main pillars: exploitation management, innovation management, and IPR management. Each of these pillars is strongly dependent on the others.
The first version of the exploitation plan presents the methodology for the identification of the Key Exploitable Results (KER), together with a first analysis of the strategy towards the identification of the results that can lead to the development of a business model.
As regards Innovation management, it involves the mapping, evaluation and definition of the protection strategy options for the KERs, based on an expected impact orientation approach. Four tools have been designed and implemented to monitor the innovation processes, all under the umbrella of the Innovation Notification System Register (INSR): KPI reference tables, TRL Advance Reference tables, Demonstrator dockets, and Key Exploitable results forms.
The IPR management strategy for each KER identified will be defined, and rules will be formalised for the use of foreground and required background and its distribution within the project as well as the rules for handling sensitive or confidential information. This IPR strategy will be specially focused on the protection of the innovations and knowledge developed within the project.
